This year, Lapeer County EMS and Leave Day Apparel Co. are coming together again to support Amber Hyek and her family as she fights Stage 2 triple-negative breast cancer.  Since her diagnosis in January, Amber has endured months of chemotherapy followed by a double mastectomy and reconstructive surgery.  She has also been unable to work while undergoing treatment, making the support of friends, family, coworkers, and the community especially meaningful.
